We are very proud to announce that Jake Boulsover is participating in Dry July.
Dry July is a fundraiser that challenges participants to go booze-free for a month to support adults living with cancer. It helps participants get healthy and clear their head while also raising funds for an important cause. Dry July improves the wellbeing of adult cancer patients by providing funds to create better services and environments for them and their families.
The funds that Jake raises will be donated to the Calvary Mater Hospital in Newcastle. From the Calvary Mater Newcastle page; “This year, we hope to raise enough money to purchase new equipment for our Oncology Loan Pool, this will help address patients unique care, comfort and pressure care needs. Additionally, we would like to purchase new wigs for our Wig Service and new equipment for our wards. Please, never underestimate the direct impact every donation has on our patients’ cancer journeys. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your support.”
At the half way mark, Jake has already raised $170. We’d like to help him make it to $500.
