Novascape’s director Tim Helman participated in the Hunter Memory Walk on Sunday. Tim was joined by his family to walk 7.5km in memory of his grandfather who suffered dementia.

Tim and his family were amazed to learn that there are more than 342,800 Australians living with dementia. It is the second leading cause of death in Australia and there is no cure. Each week, there are 1,800 new cases of dementia in Australia; one person every six minutes.

Tim and Novascape support this great initiative and encourage you to contribute by participating in a walk or making a donation. Money raised enables Alzheimer’s Australia to provide support services, education and conduct research.
